About two months ago me and my parents moved to Amsterdam. Of course the city's amazing and I find myself surprised by it's beauty everytime I turn around a corner. Unfortunately I'm still stuck in senior year so I don't get to enjoy the area as much as I'd like to. On top of that I decided I didn't want to switch schools half way through my final year which means I travel 3-4 hours a day just to get to school and get home. It's pretty hectic to say the least. But I feel privileged nonetheless.
I sleep a lot and naps are my best friends. I'd love to do something creative every now and again and a blog seemed like the most versatile platform to do so. When I'm not sleeping, struggling through homework or stuck on a train or bus I enjoy going out with friends, whom, unfortunately, I don't get to see as often as I used to. Love them to bits though.
As far as my future plans go, I'm applying to a couple of universities in the U.S.. I have been working towards the whole application process for about two years so I hope you can imagine how much I'd like to finish school and go there already. In the meantime my older brother's taken a gap year in New Zealand and Australia and if everything goes as planned we'll visit him after my finals (I can't even describe how excited I am to go there).
So for now I guess this is all there's to know.
Hope to hear from you someday!
